[Business details pending confirmation: legal name, company number or trader details, address and VAT status will be inserted here.]
These are general terms for our services. Your written quote sets out the specific scope, price and timescale and forms part of the agreement.
1. Our services
We provide website design, redesign, SEO and maintenance services to businesses. The scope of each project is set out in the written quote we agree with you.
2. Quotes and prices
Quotes are fixed-price for the agreed scope. Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately and agreed before it starts. Prices shown on this website are introductory starting prices and your quote is the price that applies.
3. Payment
A deposit is payable before work begins and the balance before the website is published or handed over, unless agreed otherwise in your quote. Maintenance is billed monthly in advance.
4. Revisions
Each quote includes a stated number of revision rounds. Further changes may be charged.
5. Your content
You must have the right to use all text, images and logos you give us. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information about your business.
6. Domain and hosting
Domain and hosting costs are separate from our fees unless your quote says otherwise. Where possible, the domain is registered in your name.
7. Ownership
When you have paid in full, you own the finished website design and content created for you. We may keep general know-how and may show non-confidential work in our portfolio only with your permission.
8. No guarantees
We work with reasonable care and skill. We cannot guarantee search engine rankings, website traffic, enquiries or sales.
9. Maintenance plans
Either party may cancel a monthly maintenance plan with 30 days' written notice.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our liability is limited to the fees paid for the relevant service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
11. Consumers
If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected by these terms.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. [Jurisdiction wording to be confirmed.]
